UPDATES

On behalf of the Greater Chicago Combine, Inc. I would like to welcome you to the Windy City. It has been 15 years since Chicago last hosted the AU Convention and we are very happy to be this year’s host. I hope our hospitality, food, culture and our feathered athletes make your stay one that will be remembered for years to come.

We have prepared an amazing program for you. Aside from the main race, we brought in experts from various fields of the pigeon world. We have famous guests from Europe and some of the best vendors the country has to offer. We also have plans outside of the pigeon world. So don’t leave the Mrs. and kids at home. There is plenty of attractions for everyone to enjoy in this city.

The Chicago Combine consists of around 150 members who are very competitive and have what I consider some of the best racing pigeons in the world (I encourage you to visit some lofts). The Chicago weather varies greatly and at times, we can have all four seasons of the year in a single day. It takes incredible pigeons to compete here. It also takes incredible people to keep such big organizations together. Therefore, I would like to thank all officers of the clubs, combines and national organizations for their hard work and dedication to the sport. I would also like to thank the 2018 AU Convention Committee for their help. We worked hard and hope you will enjoy your time with us. Please come up and introduce yourself.

Remember, you can never make new old friends.

80 TOP AUCTION WINNERS WILL BE AUCTIONED OFF ON IPIGEON A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE CONVENTION.  BIRDS WILL BE LISTED ON IPIGEON AND END WITH A LIVE AUCTION.  DATE TO BE ANNOUNCED.
